Description
Summary:—A possible approach combining ecological risk models, on the one hand, and Big Data theory and practice, on the other hand, is proposed. The model calculates annual variation of ecological risk in marine resource management. Based on the preliminary results obtained for a highly productive ecosystem of the Arctic shelf, intra-annual variations in the allowable probability of impact from anthropogenic stressors are calculated. The proposed approach refines risk assessments for processes of various origin.
