Description
Summary:The main purpose of this research was to interpret the use of information technologies in space (and specifically, in the space of "luxury" hotel architecture in Brazil and Argentina), as luxury hotels, as an empirical hypothesis, can be seen as one of the precursors in the use of automation in buildings. To this end, there was a "cross-referencing" of this empiricism with a bibliographical survey and its due analysis, characterizing this as an exploratory study. It was concluded that the luxury hotels in the two aforementioned countries make very little use of the technological equipment offered; emphasizing the fact that the bulk of the investments are on automated security equipment, with very little being invested in the comfort of guests. Even so, this hotel management has proven to be a reference for other manifestations of architecture, whether civil housing or institutional.
