Description
Summary:Results are presented from experimental studies of concentration–capillary convection while transferring mass through a spherical phase boundary. The convective transfer of mass is studied at low and medium Reynolds numbers. It is shown that circulation of the liquid inside droplets plays the main role when allowing for the resistance to the transfer of mass in continuous or dispersed phases.
