Summary: | We introduce a new technique for satellite transfers between Keplerian orbits. This new technique is based on controlling the constants of motion of the Keplerian dynamics. It can be executed automatically at any orbit point, manoeuvring satellites in space with low- or high-thrust guiding systems. Four types of transfers are studied: (i) planar transfers with constant angular momentum and variable effective total energy, (ii) planar transfers with constant effective total energy and variable angular momentum, (iii) change of orientation of the line of apsides, and (iv) three-dimensional transfers between circular orbits. |
