Summary: | The results of recent studies aimed at increasing the energy and peak power of the THL-100 hybrid femtosecond laser system in the visible region based on a photodissociation XeF(C-A) amplifier and a femtosecond Ti:Sa complex are presented. Two versions of the laser system operation are analyzed, which are based on the amplification of positively or negatively chirped pulses in the XeF(C-A) amplifier. We show that the maximum radiation energy is attained when a positively chirped pulse is amplified, and the power attains its maximum when a negatively chirped pulse is amplified. |
