Summary: | This paper described an approximating natural light LCD. With transparent polymer optical materials, such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), through the high temperature tensile make the arrangement of molecular reorientation in materials, forming the anisotropy, and have the properties of birefringence. It has higher phase retardation, its main optical axis with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) layer of polarizer in a particular angle, N multiple wavelengths of linear polarized from LCD can be converted to the circularly polarized light, approximating to natural light. The linear polarized degree of polarization can be improved to 3.4 % (approximating natural light pol.) from 99 %(normal pol.). |
