Summary: | For the past several years, many ideas about IoT-based systems have emerged, one of which is IoT-based electrical load or appliance automation. This well-known application is known as "Smart Home." It is a system that allows the user to handle the things connected to it wirelessly via the Internet using a controller (mobile phones and tablets). This project includes a webpage that allows the user to control the connected devices to the house's lighting and outlet system. It also has a database that permits users to track their power consumption. By typing the given link into a web browser, the proposed webpage may be viewed from any smart device and visited from any location. It also features a login and password application for privacy. This project is composed of microcontrollers, sensors, and relays. Node MCU microcontrollers receive and store signals and data, Arduino Relays switch the system on and off, and ACS712 current sensors measure current data and record it in the database. And a 5V power supply is used to drive the whole system. In addition, a software application helps to achieve the webpage's goal. A web host application called 000webhost helped to build the entire structure of the webpage. Also, a software application called Ngrok is responsible for accessing the control part of the webpage through any device and Internet network. |
