Summary: | The structural elements of vessels and devices of hazardous production facilities are in most cases operated at increased excess pressure, as well as in conditions of corrosion of the surface of elements in contact with aggressive working environments. Prolonged operation of the element under such conditions inevitably leads to gradual degradation of the structural material and, as a result, failure of the element within a certain period of time. Some of the most frequently faulty elements are process nozzles of different purpose. In this regard, repair work is carried out to cut defective nozzles in accordance with the technology approved at the enterprise. In the process of repair works, as well as during subsequent quality control of their execution, damage such as scratches can be formed on the surface of the nozzle elements. Under conditions of corrosion wear and working parameters, the presence of scratches can make a significant contribution to the formation of the stressed-deformed state of the element and its operability and reliability. The relative positioning of the scratches relative to each other on the surface of the member may also have a certain effect. The current regulatory and technical documentation does not establish criteria for assessing the technical condition of process equipment elements in corrosion conditions with scratches depending on the location of scratches and their dimensions. In this regard, conducting a strength analysis of the flat manhole cover of the apparatus with various versions of the location of scratches on the surface and the degree of corrosion wear is relevant. |
