Summary:The study presents the base criteria for development of the pedagogical model for inmate subculture expansion counteracting. The neural network development based on data obtained in active questioning of inmates detained in penitentiary institutions and Russian penitentiary service employees is considered. There are presented preliminary results of the obtained data processing based on the chosen criteria for development of the pedagogical model for inmate subculture expansion counteracting. It is assessed the possibility of creating the effective prognosis information system and working pedagogical model for inmate subculture expansion counteracting. The study also evaluates the possible implementation effects of the developed pedagogical model and prognosis information system in everyday practice of the Russian penitentiary service.
