Summary:The purpose of this research is to analyze the training of teaching staff as an indicator of quality in university institutions. The notions about the term training show that there are two major notions of this category, on the one hand, it refers to a notion of quality indicator, on the other hand, it gives rise to ways of management. Quality standards must be established in teacher training that leads to optimal performance in their role as university education professionals. Esto nos lleva a señalar, que durante la ejecución de la docencia cualquier ámbito, debe existir un proceso de capacitación y actualización que permita mejorar los procesos académicos relacionados a herramientas y recursos que potencien y dinamicen las capacidades, incluso en la actualidad donde la virtualidad exige mayor compromiso y preparación para la trasmisión de conocimiento y el logro de objetivos en los procesos de enseñanza - aprendizaje.
