Description
Summary:Caprine milk is a nutraceutical food that contains a lot of high nutritional value not only the body needs but also at the cellular level. The bioactive peptide of caprine milk has high health benefits like antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory agents, and skincare to keep the skin healthy. This research aims to know the effect of temperature and storage time in pasteurized Etawah goat milk so that can be categorized as safe to use. In this study, the soap is carried out by several treatments, there are 4°C, 25°C, 33°C in the incubator, and Light exposure. The storage time of this soap is 6 months. In organoleptic evaluation, every treatment shows almost the same result in 3 parameters. The aroma of the soap is milky, white in color, and has a 100% hardens at 6 months. At the beginning of the treatment, the hardness level was still soft. Next month, the moisture content is decreasing and making the soap is getting harder. The pH of each treatment is almost the same as the pH of the skin. This study concludes that caprine soap is safe as skincare and may induce healthy skin cells.
