Summary: | In this present report, an attempt has been made to estimate the thermal conductivity of bad conductor using Lees’ disc method with subsequent computational approach. The computational approach employed here encompasses the MATLAB programming and R programming. As a novelty, temperature gradient is estimated by using MATLAB and the diffusion is calculated by R programming. Simulation outcomes are compared with the results which are obtained by conventional approach. As a result, it is observed that the computational approach provides a close correlation with a conventional approach. |
