Description
Summary:A propeller is a type of fan that uses the power generated and transferred by the ship's primary engine to drive the shi p forward. By operating on a working fluid such as water or air, it converts rotational power into linear trust by prod ucing a pressure differential between the two surfaces. The rotating motion of the blades is converted into trust when a given mass of working fluid is prepared in one direction and the graph travels in the opposite direction. Using Solidworks software, create a model of a maritime propeller with various blade angles, then import it into the ANSYS Workbench for structural analysis. For both Titanium alloy and Aluminum metal matrix materials, comparat ive analysis is carried out by adjusting propeller blade angles of 400 and 500 degrees. The goal of this project is to m odel and structurally analyse maritime propollers in order to calculate maximum stress, strain, and deformation of sel ected materials under load and to produce reasonably good results.
