Description
Summary:An approach is made to analyse influence of Soret and Dufour number on mixed convection flow of Casson fluid in existence of uniform magnetic field, porous media and amplification in a porous channel analytically. The highly nonlinear coupled PDEs are converted into ODEs using similarity transformation, and perturbation technique is implemented to study the characteristics of concentration, temperature and velocity of the physical model. The impact of dimensionless parameters such as chemical reaction rate, Reynolds number, Schmidt number, Casson fluid parameter, thermal buoyancy parameter, Prandtl number, concentration buoyancy parameter, Hartmann number, Darcy number and Soret and Dufour number on velocity, concentration and temperature have been studied graphically. Some of the computational results reveal that effect of Reynolds number and Soret and Dufour number enhances the velocity, concentration and temperature profiles. The present work is in good agreement with the previous work.
