Summary:Issyk Kul Lake water was analyzed to determine fluorine concentration, which was found to vary within 1.79–2.75 mg/L at a mean value of 2.3 mg/L. In drainless water bodies, the share of fluorine in salt residues and the ratio decrease with increasing TDS. This is due to an increase in fluorine accumulation in bottom sediments in the process of water body salinization.
