Summary:A method for determining mismatch-prediction efficiency in the laws of digital automatic control systems is developed. The mismatch prediction is carried out using a real-time extrapolator based on the ( M + 1) previous mismatch samples which are approximated by the Chebyshev polynomials orthogonal over a set of equally spaced points according to the least-squares method. The effect of the complement to the proportional–integral–derivative control law of the mismatch-prediction component on the control quality is analyzed.
