Summary: | This work is devoted to the study of the rheological behavior of a powder–polymer composition prepared for use in injection molding technology. A review of the models used to describe the rheological behavior of slurries is presented. Viscosity was studied on a capillary rheometer with different capillary diameters using MIM-4140 feedstock with a wax–polyolefin binder as an example. Empirical coefficients of viscosity models are determined. Verification of the calculated values of the viscosity of the studied feedstock and experimental data is presented. |
