Summary:The excavations carried out between 1917 and 1921 at Baelo Claudia (Bolonia, Tarifa, province of Cádiz) 1 were led by P. Paris and his team 2 working with the Anglo-French archaeologist G. Work focused on the N part of the forum where three temples were exposed.5 A minor intervention was carried out in the theatre together with more extensive excavations in the area of the fish-salting factory that included two domus , and in the E necropolis.
