Summary:Background: Disinhibited eating behavior (DEB), or the propensity toward overeating when presented with palatable food, has been documented extensively in youth with obesity. However, the role of satiety responsiveness in observed differences in DEB in youth with obesity (OB) and youth with healthy weight (HW) has not been previously studied.
