Description
Summary:The use of three-dimensional models of engine components in the design of its systems and mechanisms by numerical methods is considered. The strength of fuel-system components in a diesel engine, intrinsic vibration of housing components, and vibrations of external surfaces and structure-borne noise are calculated by means of AVL EXCITE software, while the hydraulic characteristics of the intake and supercharger system are calculated using FlowVision software. Parameterization may be used in developing three-dimensional models of internal-combustion engines, which, in turn, may be employed in the CAD system for internal-combustion engines developed in the MADI department of heat engineering and automotive engines.
