Description
Summary:Structural research of the Cho Dien ore district and its vicinity has revealed that the formation of folds and faults occurred under sublatitudinal stress field. Evidences of ore component interlayer migration up-rake have been identified in the stratified ore-bearing layers of the Nam Lung deposit. This fact is connected to the wide development of interstratal thrusts during the formation of an anticline. Step faults developing along the anticline hinge zone bounded ore component migration, thus accounting for accumulation of ore material and formation of low-angle ore shoots. Such structural control of ore body localization is, possibly, one of the conditions of most industrially important Pb–Zn deposits confinement to the anticline hinge zone of the Cho Dien ore district.
