Summary: | The authors offer a comprehensive gnoseological and axiological study of the prerequisites that may become the grounds for Ukraine’s integration into the EU: social, economic, cultural-historical, and other prerequisites. This practical reflection aims to identify the extent to which Ukraine is currently integrated into the EU. From the geopolitical viewpoint, the act of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union is a formality, which implies the agreement of the EU members to accept Ukraine as an equal actor in a shared, unified economic, cultural, and historical space. Certainly, a decision of this kind should be dictated by concrete, historically substantiated grounds, that is, reasons proven by time and the logic of history. |
