Summary: | A calculation model of a two-inductor linear asynchronous motor with two identical inductors located opposite each other and a secondary nonmagnetic element located in the gap between them is presented. An important feature of a two-inductor linear asynchronous motor is the uneven distribution of the electromagnetic field over the width of the secondary element and the inductor. To study the electromagnetic processes of such an engine, a model was developed that takes into account the real nature of the electromagnetic field, especially in the side zones. The medium in all the studied zones of the computational model is magnetically anisotropic. Differential equations of the electromagnetic field for such media are obtained on the basis of the equations of electrodynamics. A new computational model for the analytical study and calculation of the electromagnetic-field distribution over the width of a two-inductor linear asynchronous motor is proposed. The influence of the width of the inductor and the secondary element on the characteristics of the engine has been studied. An engineering method is proposed for taking into account the transverse edge effect of the machine, in which the magnetic field of the side zones is taken into account by increasing the calculated width of the inductor. |
