Description
Summary:Tawangmangu natural tourism park is one of the popular tourist attractions on the island of Java, which also has another function as a nature reserve. Tawangmangu natural tourism park is divided into several regions with different ecosystems. One of the ecosystems in Tawangmangu Naturaltourism Park is a river that is below Mount Lawu in Karanganyar district of central Java.Various studies have been conducted to look at the biotic components of animals and plants in thetawangmangu natural tourist park area. Macrobentos diversity is felt to be very important because it can provide information on how the water quality of the Tawangmangu natural park. This research aims to find out the density and diversity of macrobentos as well as environmental parameters as a bioindicator of the quality of the waters in the River around Tawangmangu Natural Tourism Park. The method for this research is a descriptive method with a direct observation design. The determination of sampling points is done by purposive sampling, based on the topographic character around the river. Data is analyzed descriptively through calculations of density and diversity. The density of macrobentos based on the highest location is on a hill with 17 families and the lowest density at the location of GrojoganSewu with 10 families. The density of macrobentos by the largest family in Grojogan Sewu is represented by the family Lymnaeidae and the lowest is represented by the Family Erpobdella and on the hills of sekipan represented by the family Leptoceridae and lowest by the family Hydropsychidae. The diversity index in Grojogan Sewu and Bukit Sekipans are in moderate and low categories, indicating a disruption in the second ecosystem location of the mention. Environmental parameters in general are still within the normal boundary range for macrobentos life, based on the quality standards of Grojogan sewu and Bukit Sekipans aquatic environment parameters are in good condition.
