Description
Summary:The results of a systematic numerical analysis of the experimental data of the Fire-II flight experiment and a consideration of the results of a computational study of the convective and radiative heating of the indicated experimental space experiment, taking the atomic lines of atoms and ions, using the NERAT(2D) + ASTEROID computer platform into account, are presented. The specified computer platform is designed to solve the complete system of equations of radiative gas dynamics of a viscous, thermally conductive, physically and chemically nonequilibrium gas and radiative transport in two-dimensional geometry. The spectral optical properties of high-temperature gases have been calculated using ab-initio quasi-classical and quantum mechanical methods. The calculation of the transfer of selective thermal radiation was performed using the line-by-line method on specially generated computational grids along the radiation wavelength, which makes it possible to achieve significant savings in computing resources.
