A Novel Very Low Power Leakage Factor Window for Image Processing Applications
In this paper, a novel window for improving the resolution of the images is proposed. This window uses a modified Ricker wavelet function to minimize the power leakage factor, main lobe width and increase relative side lobe attenuation. Furthermore, a generalized equation based on a modified Ricker...

Summary: | In this paper, a novel window for improving the resolution of the images is proposed. This window uses a modified Ricker wavelet function to minimize the power leakage factor, main lobe width and increase relative side lobe attenuation. Furthermore, a generalized equation based on a modified Ricker wavelet function is proposed whose parameters such as power leakage factor, relative side lobe attenuation, and main lobe width can be varied by judiciously choosing parameter α. Finally, the window is applied to an example inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image and compared with existing windows for its effectiveness. |
