Organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary in 2022 of the coronation of the sovereigns in Alba Iulia, as "kings of all Romanians", the exhibition King Ferdinand I the Integrator and Queen Maria, in the Special Collections of the "Dinicu Golescu" Argeş Public County Library was intended to be a tribute to what King Ferdinand and Queen Maria achieved, together with the political class of the time, namely - the golden dream of the Romanians - the union of all the territories inhabited by Romanians and the realization of the Great Romania. Inaugurated on Royal Day, 10 May, the exhibition included facsimiles of circulated and uncirculated postcards, as well as illustrations from albums published by the National Military Museum. In order to create an overview of the 13 years of King Ferdinand's reign, a turbulent period but full of achievements, fragments of text or illustrations from volumes about the royal family of Romania were exhibited. The exhibits show, in an exciting way, the family life of the two sovereigns, pictures of the princely couple before and after their marriage, postcards representing their favourite royal residences, the participation of the royal family of Romania in public life, official meetings, visits to various objectives, inaugurations, openings of exhibitions, as well as their involvement in humanitarian actions to raise funds for the construction of dispensaries.
