Summary: | Post-cholecystectomy syndrome is defined as the persistence of symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia, jaundice, and pain in the right hypochondrium experienced after cholecystectomy. We report a case of a 56-year-old woman referred to our department with the aforementioned symptoms and a history of open cholecystectomy twenty-seven years earlier. A diagnosis of residual cystic duct stones was suggested and a minimally invasive approach for surgical treatment was preferred. |
