Description
Summary:The performance of elementary school principals in Indonesia was investigated in terms of knowledge management, daily interpersonal communication, sensemaking of duties and responsibilities, and perceived job satisfaction. One hundred and forty-one school principals were selected by proportional random sampling from a total of 242 school principals in 10 sub-districts in Humbahas Regency. The results of the collected data analysis show that the model described follows the data. Knowledge management, interpersonal communication, sensemaking, and job satisfaction significantly influence the principal’s performance. It is concluded that these four factors can be taken into consideration to improve the performance of school principals, apart from other previously known factors.
