Description
Summary:— The results of studies of a series of Russian-produced granular carbon sorbents potentially applicable in the production of textile-based filtering-sorbing materials are presented. It is established that the sorbent samples are comparable or superior to protective materials produced abroad (USA, Germany) and in Russia in terms of their nanotextural characteristics. It is shown that the determining factor in choosing a sorbent for making such materials consists in the size, shape and mechanical strength of the sorbent granules.
