Summary: | A comparative analysis of volumetric activity control devices for liquid media of different manufacturers and their application areas is presented. Detection devices for measuring the volumetric activity of liquid media developed by JSC Specialized Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (SNIIP) for various purposes are considered in detail. On the basis of the considered detection devices, the decision to modernize the current detection devices and the result of the development of a new device are described. The current requirements for monitoring the volumetric activity of liquid media, including the reference radionuclide
