Resolution tests for ΛCDM: A comparison of three cosmological codes

We present a series of resolution tests of the Modified Gravity‐Parallel Implementation of the Comoving Lagrangian Acceleration method (MG‐PICOLA) code for the Λ Cold Dark Matter (ΛCDM) model. Description
Summary:We present a series of resolution tests of the Modified Gravity‐Parallel Implementation of the Comoving Lagrangian Acceleration method (MG‐PICOLA) code for the Λ Cold Dark Matter (ΛCDM) model. The tests are a previous step in the analysis of modified gravity models implemented in the code. We measure the non‐linear matter power spectrum of the model and compare it with the prediction obtained with the Boltzmann code CLASS. We also compare the mass power spectrum with results from another N‐body simulation code, Modified Gravity GaLAxy Mocks (MG‐GLAM), to obtain information on the capabilities and performance of MG‐PICOLA for the optimal values of its input parameters.
