Description
Summary:This article analyzes magnetic vibrations of the stator core of a 150-kW brushless dc magnetoelectric motor in the idle mode caused by semiclosed stator slots. It has been demonstrated that the highest pulsations are interrelated with fundamental harmonic of magnetic induction in air gap. The numerical calculations of amplitude and vibration velocity are confirmed by experimental data. It has been established that, contrary to similar forced vibrations caused by fundamental harmonic of induction without accounting for toothed stator with the frequency equaling to double frequency of power source, the considered vibrations occur at the frequency which is by 2 p times higher than that of power frequency. Magnetic pulsations are analyzed caused by higher spatial harmonics of rotor magnets and higher time harmonics of stator winding voltage. It has been demonstrated that at equal amplitudes of magnetic induction of these harmonics the highest vibrations are related with the time harmonics of induction.
