Description
Summary:The paper is dedicated to the search for sources of mesons production, using the data sample collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in proton–proton collision at = 13 TeV (corresponding to an integrated luminosity 60 fb-1) in 2018. Two possible sources were considered: mesons produced in the primary vertex and mesons produced in semileptonic decays . It was found that both sources in total provide more than 3.5 millions of mesons reconstructed in the channel. The obtained results open up the possibility for the following search for rare decays of mesonов, in particular, for a search for a heavy sterile neutrino in the decay.
