Description
Summary:The COVID-19 pandemic is a situation that changes all the challenges of society, including in education. In response to this, one way out is the application of blended learning in the lecture process. Innovative preparation of blended learning-based teaching materials makes the material for students in the blended learning process. Meanwhile, this research aims to analyze the expert feasibility test, practicality, and effectiveness in blended learning-based differential calculus textbooks. The method used is research and development (RandD) using the IDI (Instructional Development Institute) development model. The research approach is in the form of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The instruments used are questionnaires, tests and interview guidelines. The analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive in the form of percentage and qualitative description analysis. The results of this study show that (1) the feasibility test of expert validators on blended learning-based teaching materials shows very well; (2) The practicality test of blended learning-based teaching materials is said to be practical; and (3) the effectiveness of developing teaching materials based on blended learning is said to be effective from the point of view of lecturers and students who can improve learning activities, motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics education students. This research implies that the development of teaching materials is a solution to the various challenges, as professional educators should design teaching materials adapted to the global situation and the character of the students they teach in class.
