Summary: | In this work, the mechanical behaviour of composite materials consisting of fly ash-based geopolymer reinforced with wood fibres is investigated for compressive and flexural loadings. The gathered test data were used to calibrate constitutive models for the geopolymer, consisting of the exponential Drucker–Prager yield criterion coupled with the concrete damage plasticity model. The numerical analyses were performed in the commercial software Abaqus, the results being compared with experimental data, yielding good correlations. |
