Summary:Vietnam promotes the implementation of STEM education in the general education program to help students focus on experiential activities and apply knowledge to create products or solve real-life problems. Learning through games and especially the learning through practice method is thoroughly devoted to STEM integrated subjects. In 2016, Microsoft released Minecraft: Education Edition (Minecraft: EE) – an educational version of Minecraft, which is an open-world game that helps students to promote creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment. In this article, as a suggestion to help teachers effectively exploit the power of Minecraft Education in Stem education-oriented teaching, we aim to design a lesson plan for a topic using STEM-oriented Minecraft Education and use criteria to evaluate the quality of the above teaching plan. Finally, the elements that can effectively exploit Minecraft Education in the direction of STEM will be discussed and proposed for further investigations
