Summary: | Productivity is the relationship between the amount of output produced and the number of inputs required to produce that output. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a linear programming-based mathematical programming technique used to measure and evaluate the productivity of a decision-making unit that is responsible for using a number of inputs to obtain a targeted output. In many cases, the input and output values can only be integers. Rounding real numbers will produce inaccurate results in this case. This paper discusses the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) problem of determining the size of the productive scale with real and integer value data. |
