description The use of technologies associated with energy efficiency with respect to photovoltaic systems is gaining ground in our environment, so the objective of the study was to validate an instrument with reference to the analysis of the data obtained on the situation in the knowledge, application, and management of electrical installations such as automatic control of a photovoltaic system and its improvement in energy efficiency in Communities of the Rural Sector. A field study was carried out, based on a survey applied to 313 people residing in 12 neighborhoods, and an exploratory factor analysis was carried out, as well as a confirmatory factor analysis of the data obtained. A principal component analysis result was obtained with a factor transformation matrix (0.844).
