Summary: | The operation of wheeled vehicles is largely determined by the interaction of their wheels with the support surface. The significant part of these machines is operated not only on rigid support surfaces, but also on deformable soils, which determines the need to analyze the process of rolling the wheel on the ground, including, among other things, determining the depth of the track and the power of track formation. In this article consider the problem of determining the depth of the track using the Berstein-Letoshnev formula and introducing the equivalent wheel radius into the calculation equations. The derived dependencies allow to determine the depth of the track during successive passes of any pneumatic tires with reduced air pressure over various deformable soils. The radii of equivalent wheels necessary for this can be found according to the method described in this article using the results of experiments. |
