Description
Summary:Based on the principles of eco-philosophical methodology, the article explores man’s place in the ecosystem of urban patterns in the unity of natural, architectural, and social aspects. Analyzing the problems of research in the field of urban ecology, the article defines a new aspect in the development and design of urban space as an ecosystem. It pays particular attention to the issue of which elements of the eco-city model are optimal from the point of view of preserving nature and human culture. Also, it makes a comparative analysis of smart and eco-friendly cities and determines vectors of the sensory-intellectual horizon of personality development from the point of view of ecology. The article investigates aspects of eco-rationality in the city’s development as an integral anthropological, natural and cultural space. The discussion considers Arnold Berleant’s point of view on the interdependence of the concepts of environment, ecology, aesthetics, and experience in ecosystem research. The novelty of the author’s approach lies in the study of urban space from the point of view of an ecological human-dimensional approach, in the unity of culture oriented towards global human values and the search for being, which opens up opportunities for the full realization of human nature, the development of his personality.
