Summary:For the LaMnO 3 /BaTiO 3 heterostructure, the influence of the presence of oxygen vacancies located in different layers of the heterostructure on the structural, electronic, and magnetic properties is studied using ab initio calculations. It was found that the presence of vacancies in any layer of the heterostructure induces the appearance of interface conductivity concentrated within the atomic layer.
