Summary: | 2020 is the toughest year for the whole world due to a pandemic caused by a virus called COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019). WHO explained that this type of corona is a new virus that is the source of the COVID-19 disease and one of the most vulnerable age populations is the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 in elderly patients at the Royal Prima Hospital. This kind of research is descriptive with survey methods Of Sectional Cross approach. The population of elderly is positively COVID-19, one of the criteria given by elderly’s 45-74 years and was hospitalised In August-September 2020 at Royal Prima Hospital. The research is based on secondary data collected from a third of medics. The research deal revealed that contact history had no effect on severity, with a significance level (0.166)>0.05. There is an effect of age on the severity level with a significance level (0.00) 0.05. There is an influence between symptoms and severity with a significance level (0.00) |
