Foresiting as a tool for innovative development of the agroindustrial complex

The main purpose of the article is to consider the foresight method as a tool for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of the region. In the course of the study, the term “foresight” was defined, the main tasks of the logistics support of the agro-industrial complex in the context of digital transformation were identified, a comparative analysis of the agro-industrial complex with other regions was carried out, and the main problems of the agro-industrial complex development were identified. The importance of forsighting is also emphasized and foreign experience in developing strategies based on the foresight method is given, where the goal is defined as identifying the most promising areas of scientific and technological development and the introduction of innovative technologies in agricultural enterprises and attracting investment capital, which requires regional authorities to create a digital platform for informing agricultural producers about the developed and implemented innovative technologies and the provision of state support for the development and implementation of new technologies. The main development and use of foresight projects in the economy of the region or in the industry separately is the interaction of the state, the business community and educational institutions for the analysis and development of a long-term forecast of the logistics support of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
