Summary:Patterns are found in the effect the content of a ferromagnetic filler has on features of the microstructure of Ni core–shell NiTe 2 inclusions, changes in the Seebeck coefficient, and concentration of electrons in samples of the Bi 2 Te 3 (matrix) + x Ni (filler) composites with x = 0.00; 0.50; 0.85; 1.25 and 1.50 wt %. It is shown that the Seebeck coefficient in composites with x = 0.50 and 0.85 exceeds the calculated values, due possibly to additional scattering of electrons by the magnetic moments of inclusion atoms.
