Regulation of adhesive interaction at the interface carbon fiber - Epoxy oligomer

Summary: | The mechanical properties of fiber-reinforced composites largely depend not only on the properties of the matrix and fiber, but also on the behavior of the interface, that is, on the adhesion between the fiber and the matrix. The adhesion between the polymer resin and the reinforcing filler is largely determined by the adsorption interaction at the interface. The paper presents the results of studies of the effect of surfactants on the processes of interfacial interaction at the interface between the phases epoxy oligomer - carbon fiber. The possibility of regulating the adsorption interaction at the interface is shown. The use of an anionic surfactant made it possible to increase the adhesive interaction in the epoxy oligomer - carbon fiber system. |
