Summary: | Pandemic the threat is getting bigger when various cases show human-to-human transmission, this transmission generally occurs through droplets and contact with the virus then the virus can enter the open mucosa. One prevention is to monitor the growth process of the virus through a healthy lifestyle and wash your hands with soap and clean running water. One of them is by using a portable sink that is equipped with soap and clean water. Currently, the sink still uses a manual system where the system has to be carried directly by human hands with an air tap or a soap bowl, besides that it also requires human power and ability to control the tap and see the expression of liquid soap in the sink. One solution that can meet the needs of the implementation of the system is a system that uses sensors and motors that monitor the level of liquid soap and can make the water flow on the tap automatically so that the hands of liquid soap on the sink can be detected early. This study aims to see the response of the available tools to the commands given and the accuracy of the sensor in order to get the results as expected. This Internet of Things (IoT) Based Smart Sink was built using a Raspberry Pi, infrared sensor, ultrasonic sensor, and a DC motor used to make water taps and soap taps work automatically, and ultrasonic sensors are also used to measure liquid soap deposits in sinks and sinks. Used to display information on the height of liquid soap in the sink. The research data were obtained by observing the suitability of the correct soap height in the river with the actual soap height and testing each faucet line with a ruler. Based on the test results on the soap dispenser, it was found that 2 tests did not correspond to the actual height of the soap so that the proportion of suitability reached 90.47% and the effective test of the infrared sensor reading on the tap was 4.5 cm. Testing of air conditions on the Blynk information with the actual air level on the air tube can prove that the level of conformity reaches 92.85%. |
