Summary:The purpose of this study was to determine the value of mathematics contained in the building of the Masjid Taqwa and to understand that the buildings or objects around have a relationship with mathematics values and concepts so that they can become student learning media. The results show that the Masjid Taqwa which is located in the center of Metro city shows that the parts or shapes of the mosque and the courtyard of the mosque are related to mathematical concepts, including gates, floors, fences, flowerpots, tents, entrances, and parts of the sky. The ceiling, mosque pillars, places for the imam to pray, places for ablution, and mosque ornaments related to flat shapes, building space, and geometric transformations in the form of reflections. The building of the Masjid Taqwa is related to mathematics and is expected to be able to make students more interested in learning and more obedient to worship God.
