Summary:The results of investigations of the chemical-mineralogical composition, acidity, and viscosity moduli of basalt and serpentinite of the Arvatenskoe deposit are presented. It was found that the basalts and serpentinites of this deposit can be used as raw material for the production of cast stone material, in the form of mineral wool, and with corrective additives are suitable for the production of basalt fiber.
