Description
Summary:Nanoscience and nanotechnology have made remarkable advances that have significantly altered the environmental remediation process. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are an essential and remarkable nanomaterial in environmental remediation. The potential of AgNPs in biomedical applications is well explored compared to their environmental applications. This review explores the biosynthesis and application of AgNPs in environmental remediation. The discussion continues with the challenges of using AgNPs for environmental remediation and concludes with the prospects of AgNPs. The review will be beneficial to all researchers and professionals who are starting their journey with AgNP synthesis.
